messages

I value the Word of God more than anything. It has changed and transformed my heart! I pray that my messages would bring insight, inspiration and healing to your life.

About me

I was born in Tulsa Oklahoma, and have lived my whole life in the midwest! I have bedlam in my blood- spent most of my college years as a sorority girl at the University of Oklahoma but graduated from OSU (a story for a later date). Kyle and I met at a young adults conference in Colorado Spring where we were leading a group of students. Between corralling fifty teenagers we had a few chats that sparked a little flame and the rest is history. We met and married in a year (it must have been real love because Kyle moved from San Diego to Tul:).

We were associate Pastors of a church right outside of Tulsa, when we sensed a call to plant a church. That calling only grew stronger and jump started our journey to Kansas City, where we started The Cause Church. We have two beautiful kids, our sweet girl Blaire (3) and our little adventuring boy Graham (1). We are the #turnerwolfpack.

I am a Jesus lover through and through, a passionate woman, wife, momma, friend and pastor! I believe in the power of individual story. I believe that we are all called to change the world. That our lives are more than the sum totals of the the titles we hold. I believe that life is messy but it’s in the mess that we learn to uncover our God gifts and gain the strength to live them out. I believe that humility is key. I believe that our voice as women matters. That when we collectively rise up in strength God moves mountains that have seemed insurmountable in our hearts, families and communities. I believe that Jesus offers us hope for wholeness.

I definitely do not have it all figured out (who does?!), but I am learning everyday how to live vulnerably, courageously letting go of the fear and shame embracing all that God says I am! This blog will be bits and pieces of all the things that make up me (following Jesus, faith, pastoring, motherhood, design, homemaking, travel and I’m sure a little randomness:). as well as some of my inspiring friends sharing some insight!

Cheers to new adventures!

XOXO
